Pulse is looking to hire a sales leader based in New York, NY. We are building innovative and disruptive ways of empowering brands to share their content and tell their story in a way that’s natural and native to Pulse. We’re not selling standard units, we’re reinventing what content marketing can be on mobile devices.
As a founding member of our Sales team, we’ll look to you to kick-off and build relationships with leading Top 100 brands and agencies. We’re looking to aggressively grow in the coming year and this is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and entrepreneurial ad sales executive to be our NYC voice and have a major impact on the evolution of Pulse. We’ll look to you to help drive hiring and growth for our sales organization. You should feel comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment, excited about inspiring advertisers and selling original opportunities to them, and passionate about the mobile ad space.

Manage all aspects of strategic ad sales, including prospecting, RFP submissions, custom campaign proposals, IO fulfillment, and campaign management.

Establish deep business relationships with brands & agencies, evangelizing the Pulse platform and our approach to marketing.

Work closely with publisher content partners to empower them to also successfully present Pulse ad solutions to the market

Intertwine your efforts and share customer insights with the Product and Engineering teams so that we main a constant feedback loop and can quickly iterate on our ad solutions
Requirements:

5+ years experience in key account digital ad sales

Demonstrated ability to initiate and close complex and original ad deals, deliver customer success, and drive repeat business

Track record of developing and executing creative and entrepreneurial sales strategies

Experience working with technology and digital media products

Exceptional communication and presentation skills
